于明，男，华东政法大学法学学士（2004）、法学硕士（2007）、北京大学法学博士（2011），现任华东政法大学法律学院副教授。研究领域为法律史、比较法，讲授《外国法制史》《西方法律思想史》等课程。兼任中国法学会比较法学研究会副秘书长、全国外国法制史研究会理事。出版专著《司法治国——英国法庭的政治史（1154-1701）》、译著《语词的创造——霍布斯论语言、心智与政治》《美国的共和与民主》。在《中外法学》《法学家》《清华法学》《法制与社会发展》《环球法律评论》《比较法研究》《华东政法大学学报》等刊物上发表论文20余篇。曾获教育部第十五届霍英东基金会高校青年教师奖二等奖、上海市第十三届哲学社会科学优秀成果奖（著作类二等奖）、上海市“晨光学者”、华东政法大学“中金缘法奖教金”、“卡西欧奖教金”等荣誉。  

Yu Ming is an Associate Professor of Law at ECUPL He received his PhD in Law from Peking University in 201`, LLB and LLM from ECUPL in 2004 and 2007. He was the Clarke Visiting Scholar at Cornell Law School（2009-2010）. His research fields include Anglo-American Legal History, Comparative law, and Legal History of Early Modern China. He was the author of Judicial State Governance: the Political History of Courts in England, 1154-1701. He has published more than 20 articles in some top legal journals, such as Peking University Law Journals, Jurist, Tsinghua Law Journal, Law and Social Development, Global Law Review, Journal of ECUPL, Peking University Law Review and Legal Daily. He is also the translator of Made With Words: Hobbes on Language, Mind and Politics by Philip Pettit, America’s Democratic Republic by Edward Greenberg, and the co-translator of Collateral Knowledge: Legal Reasoning in the Global Financial Markets, by Prof. Annelise Riles.
